Wedding Venues

Some of the Best Wedding Venues in Yorkshire

One of the great perks of being a wedding photographer is that I get to visit some fantastic venues. Not just in Yorkshire, but all around the UK and one in Switzerland too! I’m happy to travel almost anywhere to shoot your big day and if I’ve not photographed your venue before, then I see it as an opportunity to shoot somewhere new. I always visit new venues before the big day anyway to put together a plan…

Sometimes it’s the light in the bridal suite when the bride is getting ready in the morning. Often, it’s the grounds or surroundings and finding a little spot that no one else has seen or used previously. Sometimes, it’s that they really know how to make a bride, groom and their family and friends feel really special. Occasionally, it’s that they have a bottomless cup of coffee for the photographer (Hornington Manor – that’s you).

Whatever the reason, below you can see some weddings at venues that I’ve shot at and count among my favourites:

Hornington Manor

I’m not really supposed to have favourites. But, if you forced me, I’d have to say that I love Hornington Manor the most out of all the venues that I’ve worked at. You can’t beat the relaxed environment for getting ready, the beautiful interior and the stunning surroundings. They really know how to look after you there too.
