I like my wedding photography to tell a story. I aim to capture a little bit of that story in every image. By using composition, framing, exposure and timing I capture every emotion and moment on your wedding day.
In the spirit of telling a story, my wedding photography portfolio, although not all shot at the same wedding, starts in the morning, with the bride getting ready. The photographs throughout the slideshow represent different moments throughout the day.
Typically, I start the day with the bride and bridesmaids as they go about their preparations. I work closely with the hairdressers and makeup artists to capture the mood of the morning, which is normally a lot of fun, with a few nerves thrown in for good measure. It’s also a good time to capture some details like the wedding dress and the brides’ shoes.
You can see from the portfolio that the day progresses from there. I’ve shot weddings that follow most religions, weddings that follow no religion, same-sex weddings and even a Star Wars Wedding. Indoor weddings, outdoor weddings, teepee weddings, a boat wedding and one in Wilton’s Music Hall in London. Variety is certainly something that I enjoy. You can see examples of most kinds of weddings either in the portfolio below or on my blog.
